Building AI Order Management Agent

As part of a personal experimentative project, built an AI Order Management Agent, an end-to-end automation system designed to streamline B2B order fulfillment. It automates the entire lifecycle, from receiving a purchase/ sales order to delivering real-time shipment tracking updates to stakeholders. The agent leverages AI and low-code/no-code tools to ensure minimal human intervention, increased accuracy and improved operational efficiency.

Project Leadership Highlights

  • Conceptualized architecture, designed the UI/ UX for the front end web-based SaaS on Lovable.

  • Oversaw the integration of AI capabilities using OpenAI (ChatGPT) and script automation logic on N8N.

  • Developed the data tables on Supabase and connected data to the front-end and back end applications

  • ​Defined workflows, business rules, and ensured that real-world shipping/freight booking nuances were captured.

  • Designed user-facing dashboards and visual automations using n8n and connected data flows via Supabase and external APIs.

Key Outcomes & Impact

  • Reduced order processing time by 75%, from 2 hours to less than 30 minutes per order.

  • Minimized manual errors, especially in inventory and shipping data.

  • Improved transparency and reliability via real-time milestone updates and proactive email notifications.

  •  Capable of handling 10x order volume with no additional headcount.

  • Reduced reliance on manual coordination, enabling reduction on overhead costs.
